SC-5.2 Source Control Stereo audio source selector and volume control

The DAP SC-5.2 Source Control is a stereo audio source selector with volume and remote control for installation purposes. It allows you to adjust the volume and switch audio sources on the unit itself, via the included IR remote control, or via a separately available wall panel, the SC-WP1. It has 3 unbalanced audio line inputs with gold-plated RCA connectors, 1 balanced audio line input with a terminal plug that is suitable for long cable runs, and an additional summed mono audio input via the separately available SC-WP1 Wall Panel, which can be switched between line level and phone level. The output provides a balanced stereo audio signal via a terminal connector. The volume is set using a rotary encoder which controls a digital potentiometer for high-quality sound. The volume setting is indicated by LEDs.
The SC-WP1 wall panel is connected via a standard RJ45 port and shielded CAT5/CAT6 cables. An additional RJ45 input is available for controlling the SC-5.2 Source Control from an RS232/RS485-compatible device. An IR remote extension port is provided for connecting an optionally available IR extender in cases where there is no direct line of sight possible between the remote and the SC-5.2 unit.
