The best damping factor in its class
In the APA series, the typical output relays have been replaced by the CROWBAR circuit. This circuit immediately diverts excessively high voltages to ground before connected speaker systems are damaged. Each relay represents a mechanical contact in the signal path. This means that wear and poor damping are inevitable. To minimize this unavoidable influence on the signal, only high-quality switching contacts are used in ECLER amplifiers.
