KYOTO FOAM - KYOTO FOAM Inlay for 2U rack drawers can be cut to size

There are numerous products and options available to make sorting and organising the contents of 19" rack drawers easy. From foam inserts for microphones to adjustable dividers and pre-cut foam elements, all products offer excellent solutions. However, Kyoto's foam offers an unprecedented level of adaptability and flexibility while maintaining both durability and stability.

All that is needed to create a custom cavity is a sharp knife (included). The genius of Kyoto foam is that it consists of 5 layers that are firmly glued together, but can be separated from each other without leaving glue residue on the main part. This allows for different depth levels when cutting and does not require a CNC machine.

For the perfect measurements, simply place the part on the foam and trace the outline on the foam with a marker. Using the knife included in the kit, carefully cut along the outline on the foam. Make sure that you only cut into the desired layers. The cut-out area can now be clamped, the layers levered open from below and the segment pulled out.
