The VM-2240 is a multi-function amplifier that can be installed in an EIA standard equipment rack (3-device size). The device has 4 audio inputs, including the background music input and the speaker output section, which has an internal attenuator and a 5-zone selector switch. It enables not only general broadcasting, but also emergency broadcasting based on the EN60849 standard, which provides pre-recorded voice instructions (optional EV-200M required) in the emergency situation. The transmission can be made via an optional RM-200M remote microphone as well as via the amplifier and can be remotely controlled via external devices. In addition, for 100 V#9b applications, the device has a monitoring function (optional SV-200MA required) that automatically checks the system for faults.
